Seniors want to stay in their home, in familiar surroundings and we want to help them.
Greenline Sustainable Builders, in Kingston, already works to make homes healthier, reduce energy use and cut GHG emissions. Now we have a new ambition – we want to assist seniors age with comfort and dignity in their own home.
We’re calling our new ambition – Healthy House Initiative – the aim is to work with home owners and care givers to remove the barriers to comfortable living and make their homes safer, healthier, and as maintenance free as possible.
In addition to a full range of renovation services we assist with the various, renovation grants and tax credits including the Healthy Homes Renovation Tax Credit – http://www.ontario.ca/taxes-and-benefits/healthy-homes-renovation-tax-credit.
Services include small projects such as: Grab bars and handle installations, lowered electrical switches and outlets, occupancy switches, enlarged doors, task lighting, lowered counters and more – just ask.
To larger projects such as: Wheelchair accessible bathrooms and kitchens, main floor laundry rooms, walk in or roll in showers, walk in tubs, enlarged entry and doors, wheelchair entrance ramps and decks and home automation.
If you or someone you know needs a healthier more accessible home – we’re here to help.
